George Dionne interviews V.B.O. and WIND ROSE vocalist FRANCESCO CAVALIERI about his involvement in the 40th Anniversary of ‘Transformers: The Movie’, including his appearance on the Reigning Phoenix Music compilation ‘Transformers: The Movie: The Soundtrack: The Reformatted Edition’, for KNAC.COM.

Concurrently, Cavalieri debuted his latest project V.B.O. (VICE BUSINESS ONLY) on July 24, 2026 with the release of their self-titled debut, also out now through Reigning Phoenix Music.

‘Transformers: The Movie: The Soundtrack: The Reformatted Edition’ honors and updates the 1986 original soundtrack with appearances by Sebastian Bach (ex-SKID ROW), Mark Osegueda (DEATH ANGEL), Brittany Slayes (UNLEASH THE ARCHERS), Torch (COLD SLITHER), Francesco Cavalieri (V.B.O.), STAN BUSH, and VINCE DICOLA.

Backing up the guest musicians are THE KNIGHTS OF UNICRON, Gus Rios (GRUESOME), Matt Harvey (EXHUMED), and Ross Sewage (EXHUMED).  This trio is also part of COLD SLITHER, the G.I. JOE inspired band.
